Flying to Bali is safe at the moment and most holiday makers are free to roam most of the island, home to diverse marine species and stunning beaches.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office currently (FCO) advises against travel within four kilometres of Mount Agung’s crater at present.

Mount Agung “may continue” to be active for several months however, the agency has stated, warning passengers of “possible disruption” for travellers with little notice.
